TeRRiLL ReUnIOn

On August 22, 23, & 24th we attended the Terrill Family Reunion.

It was great to spend time with the family and we had a lot of fun! We left for Layton on Thursday evening. We had to spend numerous hours on the road before the adventure began. First stop was Driggs, Idaho to pick up Mekenna. Unfortunately Clayton was not able to go with us because his 1st football games of the season were that weekend. After picking Mekenna up we cut over to Rexburg and grabbed some fast food for dinner. Then proceeded to go to I.F. and so on. Finally reaching Layton at 11:30 p.m.

The next morning started with breakfast followed by Mekenna, Chase, and Chandler playing "hide the monkeys" game while waiting to leave for Lagoon. After a little battle with Utah traffic we entered the fun in sun Lagoon. We spent the day riding rides, visiting, and having a great time. The kids - Mekenna, Chandler, Gabe, Chase, Emmalee - spent many hours exploring kiddie land with the help of the adults keeping them round up. Adalynn is too young to do much but sleep. I enjoyed spending time with all the nieces and nephews. Another highlight was racing the dragster cars. It was LauraLee vs. Mandi, Shawn vs. Jackson, Chris vs. Bob, and Cody vs. Kevin. I can't remember who all won who I just know that we all had a blast racing.

The fun continued the next day at Cherry Hills. Cherry Hills is a camping area that is a swim park that also has miniature golf, rock climbing wall, batting cages, hamster haven, and more. It was another day full of fun, sun, and family. There was a water slide the you sit in tubes on and can make a train of people that was great. Mekenna really enjoyed the miniature golf and gave the climbing wall a good try. That evening we had a family dinner at the Golden Coral, which we all ate too much food at.

With a lot of memories made we left the following morning each family back to their normal life schedule. The reunion was a great time with a lot of good memories and a few pictures. I brought both of my cameras and did not take very many pictures even though I had every intention on taking a bunch. We missed Hanna & Finley very much!! We also missed Clayton, Trevor, and Bob! Maybe next year we will be able to have everyone there. Thanks again for everything Dad & Sandy!
