Aunie & Papa a.k.a. Chris (Mom) & Dan finally made it out to Wyoming for a visit. We hadn't seen them in just over a year. Not since we had been out to Oregon last August for our summer vacation. They had been wanting to make it out for some time to see our new house, but have been very busy as have we. It was a great visit minus their flat tire issues. They brought their camper and stayed in our driveway. Clayton & Mekenna were so excited to stay in the camper with Aunie & Papa. We had all sorts of plans, but the weather decided not to cooperate with those plans. It was labor day weekend and instead of one final weekend of warm weather the rain and cold decided to roll in. So taking the jet skis out for one last time this summer didn't happen.
However, we packed the fishing poles and Dan had brought his canoe and we headed up to Soda Lake for a day of fishing. If I remember right everyone caught at least one fish if not more. It was a good time even though we got rained on a couple of times. Well that and Mekenna coming an inch or so away from tipping her, Clayton, and Papa out of the canoe. We made memories by watching movies, playing games, and just spending time together. Thanks for coming to visit Aunie & Papa!! We love you and hope to see you again soon!!
P.S. We did have one causality. . . . my fishing pole :-( On the bumpy ride home it got caught on a tackle box or something and the tip of it cracked. Hopefully it won't be to hard to fix.
