Over Father's Day weekend we attended the Terrill Family Reunion. Thanks to my Dad and Sandy for the time, money, and effort spent for all of us to have so much fun. We left after work on Thursday and headed to Layton where the hotel was. We took a scenic detour and stopped along the way for dinner, but made it with no big incident.
We saw this double rainbow on on drive to Utah and Mekenna wanted a picture. The picture didn't turn out to bad considering I took it while we were moving and through a tinted glass car window.
We awoke Friday morning to a cloudless and beautiful day that the weather website had predicted, which we were ecstatic about after having so many rainy days one after another. On the agenda for that day was Lagoon, an amusement park in Utah for those who don't know what it is. We all loaded up our coolers, kids, and sunscreen and headed to the park for a day full of fun and of course a little chaos.

LauraLee (sister-back of purple shirt) Sandy (step mom), Kevin (brother), Trevor (brother) and Kendra (brother Trevor's fiance) all waiting for Lagoon to open.
Mekenna Jo & Chandler Jo. We got all the girl cousins the same cute shorts to wear that day.
Gabe & Chase watching the roller coasters, while waiting.
Finley hanging out in her stroller. At certain times don't we all wish we could still fit in strollers?

Clayton & Mekenna spent their allowance money to go on the Skycoaster, which is a bungee type ride that you have to pay extra money for.

We enjoyed all the fun Lagoon had to offer we spent all day riding rides, except Shawn who had caught some kind of bug and was not feeling well at all. He was a trooper he walked around the park for most of the day and watched as we rode rides. He did take a few hour break around lunch time to just sit and relax. I of course carried the camera around for part of the day but was not very good at taking it out and actually using it, which I hate especially when I get back home.
The second day of the reunion we weren't as lucky. The rain clouds had returned. The plan was to go to Cherry Hill water park. We all debated whether to still go or go do something else. We decided to go and gamble with rainstorms, well in the end the rainstorms won out. They closed the pool early, but we did manage to have some fun before that happened. After it closed we went back to the hotel and the Terrill, Terry, Gourley, and Fish families took over the hot tub and pool at the hotel.
Emmalee all wrapped up after one of the down pours.
LauraLee, Chase, and my Dad as you can probably tell it was not warm.

Saturday night was spent eating at the Golden Corral with the whole family all 21 of us. We ate, visited and just enjoyed being together. Sunday morning was Father's Day and departure day. We slept in for a little bit, ate breakfast, said our goodbyes and hit the road for back home.
The Terry Family enjoyed the reunion very much, my only regret is I did not take very many pictures (still kicking myself for this one). Well that and Shawn was sick. Thanks again for all of those who make these wonderful memories possible.
